Happiness is a freshly clean home-Unknown
Happy 2022! It’s that time of the year where some may still have out Christmas decorations, and others have refreshed for the New Year. At Fior, we’ve done a bit of both–still in a winter wonderland-esque mood, all while going more minimalistic. January is a great month to reboot and refresh your home. This year, we’re going for minimalist, open floor decor–more open space, less cluttter. Check out our home visionboard this year below:

- A cleaning routine will be key this year. Try carving out about 15-20 minutes to do routine cleaning daily. This includes: making your bed, a quck bathroom refresh after your daily showers, laundry upkeep, and vacuuming. When you keep this kind of routine, this allows you to run your household in an organized fashion. If you work remotely, this will be very important to do in order to stay sane.
- Minimalize. Take this time to refresh with candles, blankets, and an overall clean slate.
- Add decorative accents. Candles, decorative florals, and wall sconces will add deep elements to your space.
- It’s okay to keep out winter themed decor. Down about puting up your decorations? Use antlers, pine, and bright colored for a vignette.
- Stick to a time to cook. If you cook mostly throughout the week, carve out one specific time to get in the kitchen. Don’t have time for that? Before bed, or work, go ahead and get your meals cooked for the next day. If this is your case, take advantage of cooking appliance such as an air fryer, or slow cooker to save time.
- Keep tasks organized. Have a specific notepad to jot all to-do’s for your home daily. Having a home to-do list or cleaning notebook will keep you on track of your household.
